This policy describes how Holinic LLC ("Holinic LLC", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal information on holiniq.com (the "Website"). Holinic LLC does business as Holiniq, Hairqare, merely and Baely. This policy covers the Website only. The Hairqare platform, the merely store and the Baely app each have their own privacy policy, linked at the end of this page.

Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider records standard server information: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, language preference, the page that referred you, the pages you visit and the time and date of each visit. We use this information to keep the Website running, to detect abuse and to understand how many people visit. It is not used to identify you personally.
Information you give us
The only form on the Website is the enquiry form. When you send it, we receive the enquiry type you selected, your name, your email address, your company name if you provide one, and your message. We use this information to reply to you and to follow up on your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us.
Cookies and tracking
The Website does not set cookies of its own and does not run analytics, advertising pixels or other tracking scripts. The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Google's handling of that data is described in Google's privacy policy.
We do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals because the Website does not track visitors across other sites.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the Website. Each one processes only the information needed for its task:
- Cloudflare hosts the Website and delivers it to your browser. Cloudflare records server logs as described above.
- FormSubmit delivers the enquiry form. Your form entries pass through FormSubmit's servers on their way to our inbox.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the Website.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with our affiliates and brands (Hairqare, merely and Baely) when your enquiry concerns them, with professional advisers, when the law requires it, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
How long we keep information
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as the conversation is active and for up to three years afterwards so we can refer back to it. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and then deleted. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time using the contact details below.
Legal basis for processing
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process the information you send through the enquiry form on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering it, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We process server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Website secure and available.
International transfers
Holinic LLC is based in the United States. Information you send us is processed in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict how we use your information, or object to our use of it;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where we relied on it;
- complain to a data protection authority in your country.
If you are a California resident, you may also ask once a year what categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing. We do not make such disclosures.
How to exercise your rights
Email [email protected] with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on it. We reply within one month, or within 45 days for California requests, and will tell you if we need longer.
Children
The Website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The Website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry emails are stored in access-controlled mailboxes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
Links to other sites
The Website links to merelyhaircare.com, hairqare.co, Google Play and the Apple App Store. Those sites and apps have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. The Hairqare privacy policy is at hairqare.co/privacy-policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
